Year 6 Shine in Summer Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

In a dazzling display of talent and teamwork, our school's summer production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was a resounding success. The main roles were brilliantly led by our talented Year 6 students, who entertained the audience with their performances. They were expertly supported by the rest of the school, each class contributing their own song and dance to create a vibrant and engaging show.

The production explored significant themes such as growing up, jealousy, and forgiveness, offering both the performers and the audience valuable lessons on these important life skills and challanges.

A bittersweet moment marked the evening as we bid farewell to Mr Stephen Parham-Connolly. This was his final show with us before he leaves at the end of this term. Mr. Parham-Connolly has been a cornerstone of our musical productions, leading singing practices and providing piano accompaniment. His dedication and enthusiasm will be greatly missed by pupils and staff alike.

Looking forward, we are excited to welcome Mr Ben Sawyer to our team. He will no-doubt continue the excellent work of Mr. Parham-Connolly, ensuring that our tradition of outstanding musical productions endures.

The success of this year's production is a testament to the hard work and passion of our pupils and staff, and we eagerly anticipate the future performances under the guidance of Mr. Sawyer and director, Mr Matthew Medhurst. Well done to each and every one of our pupils who got up on stage and performed with such courage and confidence.
