Local Author Sue Yardley Delights Pre-Prep Pupils with 'Cyril A Magical Christmas' Reading

Dean Close Airthrie was thrilled to welcome local author Sue Yardley today for a special reading of her new book, Cyril A Magical Christmas. The festive tale, a continuation of her beloved Cyril series, captivated the Pre-Prep pupils, who were already fans of Cyril's original adventures.

The children listened eagerly as Sue brought her enchanting story to life, sparking excitement and laughter throughout the room. Following the success of her first book starring Cyril, the racehorse, the Christmas edition proved to be just as delightful for our young audience.

We are so grateful to Sue Yardley for visiting us and sharing this magical story. The pupils absolutely loved it, and it’s a wonderful way to add to the festive season in school.
