Dean Close Airthrie Christmas Market Spreads Festive Cheer and Raises Over £550

The annual Dean Close Airthrie Christmas Market once again brought holiday joy to the community, drawing smiling children, parents, family, friends and enthusiastic stallholders to the event. Despite being moved indoors due to inclement weather, the market was a great success, raising over £550 to support the school.

A festive lineup of stalls showcased a range of gifts and goodies, including Tropic Skincare and Make-Up with Gail, Kimar Crafts, Apple Blossom Creatives, Manifest Clothing, Sophia's Candy-Land, and She Makes Scents. Visitors browsed the unique offerings while enjoying the warm, festive atmosphere.

Adding to the holiday spirit, the school’s Choir, conducted by Mr Sawyer, delivered a delightful performance of carols that charmed the audience. Meanwhile, the ever-popular raffle featured exciting prizes, and plenty of mince pies were enjoyed by attendees throughout the evening. Once again, Father Christmas made an exciting visit to our school grotto and children loved visiting him and his enthusiastic Elf helper.

The funds raised during the market will support various school initiatives, ensuring that Dean Close Airthrie continues to provide quality education and enriching experiences for our pupils. The event stood as a testament to the strong community spirit and the collective effort to make the festive season special for everyone involved.
