Christmas Carol Service 2024

The Dean Close Airthrie Carol Service last week was a unique blend of humour, music, and tradition. Led by the Year 6 pupils, the event featured a witty script titled Nativity The Musical (but not that one!), following three producers hilariously working to create the best nativity play in town.

The service also included the Pre Prep Nativity, bringing charm and festive spirit to the morning. Throughout the event, the entire school joined in song, filling Christ Church with joyful harmonies, with a performance from the Choir and standout solos by James, Saskia, and Eliza. Under the expert direction of Mr Sawyer, the performances showcased the pupils’ hard work and talent.

A special highlight was a guest appearance by Little Trees Christ Church Pre School, who delighted the audience with their rendition of Away in a Manger. Proud families filled the audience, their smiles reflecting the joy and magic of the pupils hard work.

Head, Jason Dobbie said ‘‘The Carol Service is always a highlight of the year, a heartwarming celebration of our school community. The creativity, teamwork, and joy shown was remarkable - well done to everyone involved!”
